With the New Year comes a change in agriculture leadership in western Illinois. Tara Mayhew takes over as the Rock Island County Farm Bureau Manager effective January 7th. Mayhew had been serving as the Mercer County Farm Bureau Administrative Assistant. She holds Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science Degrees in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois. Mayhew replaces DeAnne Bloomberg in Rock Island County, who was hired last month as the Director of Issue Management in the Illinois Farm Bureau News & Communications Division in Bloomington.
