Mercer County emergency responders dispatched to an anhydrous leak over the weekend. It happened Saturday at the Nutrien fertilizer plant east of Keithsburg. Nearby residents were asked to evacuate as a precaution until the leak was contained. They were allowed to return to their homes a short time later. There were no injuries. Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Seaton and Keithsburg firefighters responded to the call.
