Local State Senator Chuck Weaver opposed to a progressive income tax system in Illinois, but he says if that’s the push by Governor-elect J.B. Pritzker, voters will have the final say.
Weaver is also opposed to both increasing the state’s gas tax and legalizing marijuana in Illinois.
