Aledo Main Street is offering a pair of grant programs in hopes of attracting new businesses downtown and helping strengthen local businesses with professional services.
The Lease Expense Assistance Program (LEAP) is designed for new businesses opening in downtown Aledo or existing businesses moving to a storefront in downtown Aledo. Aledo Main Street Executive Director Lindsey Dunn says LEAP helps with start-up costs.
The Aledo Business Service Grant Program helps businesses obtain professional services. Dunn explains what types of services this grant can cover.
