Aledo has hired an interim police chief. Trevor Fisk is a retired captain from the Moline Police Department.
Fisk was sworn in Monday night. He will earn $6,000 per month in his interim role, which begins Tuesday. Current Police Chief Chris Sullivan remains on paid leave awaiting resolution of his official misconduct and misdemeanor battery case. His next court date is July 3.
