IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson tells WRMJ that “it does not appear that a meeting with reps from IDPH and Governor’s office will happen by the end of this week.” That update means a timeline for “return to play” remains up in the air.
He says the IHSA will not organize a board meeting until after they have a meeting with IDPH/Governor’s office. The IHSA has a regularly scheduled board meeting on January 13th. Anderson says this meeting will be conducted “for sure with or without a meeting with IDPH/Gov”.
