IHSA Boys Basketball AP Poll – 1/3/24

The first Associated Press (AP) poll of 2024 was released for IHSA boys basketball Wednesday afternoon.

The Rockridge Rockets (13-3, 4-0 TRAC West) fell from number one in the previous poll to number nine in this week’s 2A rankings.

WRMJ will post the polls when they are released. WRMJ’s Ty Taylor is an AP voter. His ballot will accompany the AP poll throughout the year.

*The number in parentheses represents how many first place votes a team received.
