The City of Aledo held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of a housing division on the northeast side of town on Tuesday.
12 lots are now available for sale as part of the Sponsler Manor 4th Addition project, which is the first new housing subdivision in Aledo since the 1970s.
Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch says the city is offering incentives to prospective buyers.
