The Rockridge High School football program is honoring an injured student-athlete on Friday.
At the team’s final home game of the regular season against Newman on Friday, Rockridge High School junior Drew Hawk will take part in a special presentation prior to kickoff. Hawk sustained a serious spinal injury in a diving accident in a pool in July.
Speaking during the summer, Rockridge head coach Sam Graves said Hawk is at the front of everyone’s minds.
This will be the first game Hawk has attended all season. He plays football, basketball, and baseball for the Rockets.
