A Seaton man found guilty in a sex abuse case following a four-day bench trial in Mercer County Circuit Court. The verdict was rendered Friday afternoon against 51-year-old Mark Hockenberry. His bond was revoked and he was remanded to the Mercer County Jail.
A pre-sentence report has been ordered.
Hockenberry was charged in November of 2022 with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse in connection with allegations in 2020, 2021, and 2022 involving a female youth.
Sentencing is set for April 22.
