WRMJ spoke with Rockridge High School senior softball player Daytonah Downing for the High School Sports Spotlight Tuesday. Downing has transitioned to the catcher position after playing in the outfield last year. She’s hitting .373 with 5 home runs and 13 RBI. The Rockets are 18-1.
