Filing is underway for the 2018 Illinois primary. Local Mercer County candidates have until next Monday, December 4th to file nominating petitions at the Mercer County Clerk’s office. Countywide offices up for election include Sheriff, County Clerk and Treasurer. Five County Board seats are also up for election in 2018. The primary is March 20th.
