The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department responds to a fight in progress in the New Windsor area. The call came in Tuesday and while attempting to locate involved juveniles, deputies were able to make contact with a youth who had an outstanding arrest warrant for a hate crime. The individual was taken to the Mercer County Jail and later transported to the Mary Davis Detention Center in Galesburg.
