Sherrard senior Adalynn Elsbury scored her 1,000th career point in the Tigers’ 68-38 win over Orion at home on Thursday.
Sherrard (16-5, 6-1 TRAC West) outscored the Chargers 21-4 in the first quarter.
Elsbury poured in a game-high 21 points in the win. Teagan Nelson added 15 points, and Ellie Swanson scored 14 for the Tigers.
Kamryn Brown paced Orion (11-13, 1-5 TRAC West) with 16 points.
