WRMJ, 102.3 FM in Aledo and Brownfield, Ag News for America presented Alex Edmondson with the 2023 Illinois Ag Youth Award during the Rock Island County Fair 4-H Livestock Auction Friday night. Edmondson is the son of Joe and Angie Edmondson of Orion. Alex is a 2023 Orion High School graduate and plans to attend a local community college to obtain a degree in Diesel Repair. He has been a member of the Rural Go-Getters 4-H club for 10 years, where he has served as a club officer for the past three years.
