Mercer County, Sherrard, and Rockridge opened their 2022 volleyball season last night with non-conference play. The Golden Eagles lost in a three-game match at Riverdale, the Tigers fell in three at Rock Island, and the Rockets swept St. Bede in Peru. Rockridge and Sherrard were also on the links Tuesday.
