In high school boys golf Monday Mercer County went on the road to Geneseo for a quadrangular. Geneseo lead the way with a 144, Hall fired a 160, Mercer County 170 and Kewanee 213. The medalist was Geneseo’s Hayden More with a 34. The Sherrard Tigers opened their season at home. Riverdale lead the way with a 169 edging out the Tigers with a 172. Ridgewood shot a 208. The medalist was Boland of Sherrard with a 37. Orion hosted Annawan-Wethersfield and topped them 176 to 268. The medalist was Cameron Rascher with a 37.
