Darrell Inman, 65 of Boden, IL, died Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at home. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Saturday, October 12, at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Burial will be in Viola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, October 11, at Dennison Funeral Home where memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Darrell was born on April 23, 1959, to James and Ruth Jones Inman in Clinton, IA. He married Juli Jackson on June 21, 1980. She passed away January 8, 2015. Darrell had a good sense of humor. He loved Harley motorcycles, watching NASCAR, and travelling. Darrell was a jack of all trades and enjoyed tinkering. He loved spending time with friends and family especially during breakfast.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Heather (Rodney) Taylor of New Windsor; grandson, Gunner; siblings, Ray (Sarah) Inman of Coal Valley, Elaine (Tom) Rountree of Milan, Alicia Haupt of Havana, IL, Vicki (Greg) Lee and Linda (Gary) Virgin both of Burlington, IA, Ronnie Kienast of La Harpe, IL, and Jamie (Elliott) Bell of Gotha, FL; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Juli; his mother, Ruth (Dave) Mills; his father, Jim (Zelda) Inman; and siblings, John Kienast, Donnie Inman, and Lori Mathias.
