The Orion Chargers won their sixth straight Class 2A volleyball regional championship by beating Bureau Valley on the Rams home floor Thursday night. Orion won in straight games 25-21, 25-23 to advance to Monday’s Oregon sectional where they will meet Oregon. The Rockridge Rockets fell to Three Rivers Athletic Conference foe Riverdale in the championship match of the Sherrard regional 25-22, 26-24. At the West Central regional, Farmington ended United’s season beating the Red Storm 18-25, 25-23, 25-19.
