The Orion Chargers advanced to the Class 2A Oregon sectional championship match with a straight game victory over the tournament hosts Monday night. Orion beat Oregon 25-21, 25-23 for the right to meet Galena, a straight game winner over Riverdale 25-8, 25-20 on Wednesday. In Class 1A, Wethersfield suffered their first loss of the season as they were defeated by defending state champion West Prairie 20-25, 25-18, 25-16 at the Brimfield sectional.
