The 22nd annual Aledo Antiques Day and Car Show takes place this weekend.
The event starts on Saturday at 9 a.m. and offers local people the chance to view antique cars.
Awards that will be handed out include the typical Top 50 and Best of Show. New awards this year include the Ed Johnson Award, the Kent Gerber Memorial Award, and the Mayor’s Choice Award.
Car show organizer Nick Seefeld, longtime car show organizer Jerry Mattson and Mercer County High School Restoration Program student JJ Smock joined WRMJ to discuss the event.
The Mercer County High School Restoration Program’s raffle vehicle this year is a 1977 Jeep CJ-7.
