Barbie was born November 22, 1946, in Rock Island, IL, to Harry “Zeke” Wayne and Barbara E. (Greer) Sawin. She graduated from Aledo High School in 1964, attended Stewart’s School of Hair Design in Davenport, IA, and operated a lawn care service for almost 25 years. Barbie enjoyed the outdoors, her favorite place being the Lake of the Ozarks. She loved spending time with family and friends there, being on a boat, and riding her jet ski at the crack of dawn. Her favorite thing to do each morning at the lake was ride her jet ski as fast as possible to Bagnell Dam.

Barbie is survived by her son: Nick Morrow of Kansas City; a sister: Ann Etter of Aledo; a brother: George Sawin of Aledo; and nieces and nephews: Angela Etter, Jon Etter, Jim Sawin, and Ryann Sawin.
