A developer remains committed to the Northside Lofts project. They are submitting an application this month to the Illinois Housing Development Authority for tax credits to help assist with the project. The City of Aledo has also committed $250,000 in TIF funds. Beth Payne with the Economic Growth Corporation appeared before the Aledo City Council this week.
The project was originally announced in late 2021.
