Local State Senator Neil Anderson of Andalusia teaming up with State Representative Tony McCombie to host a free Job Fair later this month in Moline. It’s Wednesday July 31, from 9 a.m. to Noon at The Spotlight Theatre and Event Center—located at 1800 7th Avenue.
Nearly 50 area employers will be available to accept resumes, answer questions, and discuss career opportunities. The Illinois Department of Employment Security will also be on hand to give advice on how to pitch yourself, how to network using LinkedIn, and how to work for state and federal governments. Attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of resumes.
