Aledo Main Street’s executive director is stepping down.
On Monday, Lindsey Dunn announced she was stepping away from the role. She has served as Aledo Main Street Executive Director since 2022.
According to a press release from Aledo Main Street, Dunn will transition out of the role in the coming months. Her last day with the organization has not yet been set.
The Aledo Main Street Board of Directors said, “The Board deeply appreciates Lindsey’s dedication and all she has accomplished during her time with AMS. Her leadership helped lay a strong foundation for the future. We look forward to continuing the organization’s mission and building upon the momentum.”
In an email, Dunn wrote, “The decision to step down as Executive Director of Aledo Main Street isn’t something I took lightly or a decision I made on a whim. This decision reflects a positive next step in my personal and professional journey, and it comes with deep appreciation for the relationships and progress we’ve built together.”
Aledo Main Street is expected to begin a formal hiring process for its next executive director in January.
