Retired Aledo Fire Chief Dennis Litwiler pleased with the overwhelming support of an ambulance referendum in the Aledo and Joy fire protection districts.
Voters in the Aledo Fire Protection District passed the referendum by a 637 to 89 margin on Tuesday night. The question won approval in the Joy Fire Protection District by a 94 to 30 vote.
