An Aledo family is celebrating after finishing RAGBRAI.
Husband and wife, Monty and Teague Smith, completed the 406-mile bicycle ride across Iowa last week. The ride ended with riders dipping their tires into the Mississippi River in Guttenberg on Saturday.
Monty completed RAGBRAI last year, while 2025 was Teague’s first time participating. They both say it was a rewarding experience.
Teague’s uncle, Michael Diehl of Aledo, also completed RAGBRAI. Teague’s father, Delane Holmes of Aledo, rode with them and served as their support driver during the week.
