The City of Aledo is announcing emergency trash collection beginning Friday and continuing through Monday if necessary.
According to a press release from the City of Aledo, outgoing trash vendor Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS) has failed to provide its final week of contracted waste collection service. Incoming vendor Quick’s Dumpster and Disposal will begin emergency collection of trash not picked up from Aledo residents on Friday afternoon. Any waste not collected on Friday will be picked up either Saturday or Monday.
The City asks all residents to keep LRS property at the curbside for the time being, which will ensure LRS still has the opportunity to collect their totes as part of their property retrieval process.
