A restoration project on Floral Hall at the Mercer County Fairgrounds continues as the 2026 Mercer County Fair is in full swing.
The building, which was constructed in 1882, was decommissioned and set to be demolished in 2023 before a donor came forward to save it.
Crews began working to repair the structure last November.
The building remains closed for this year’s fair. Mercer County Fair Board President Rita Williams provides an update on the progress.
There’s a photo opportunity outside of Floral Hall this year with a pair of antique tractors set up in front of a mural on the side of the building.
