Sherrard could never get anything going offensively in a 44-33 loss to Monmouth-Roseville on the road on Friday.
The Titans led 12-11 at the end of the first quarter and 20-18 at halftime. Sherrard led just once in the third quarter, 24-23, but trailed 30-26 at the end of the period. Monmouth-Roseville pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Sherrard 14-7 in the final eight minutes of the game.
Kaden Russell scored 17 points, 14 of which came in the first half, to pace the Titans in the win. Elliott Rogers added 11 points.
Carter Brown and Brylan Bender each scored 10 points in a losing effort for Sherrard.
Sherrard and Orion are now tied for first place in the TRAC West with one conference game to play. The Tigers host Mercer County on Tuesday, while Orion will play at Riverdale.
