Sherrard opened the night on a 9-0 run and never trailed in a 67-49 win over Rockridge at Harry Hunt Gymnasium on Monday.
The Tigers (16-4, 6-0 TRAC West) led 23-8 at the end of the first quarter and 37-18 at halftime. Sherrard’s lead ballooned to as large as 24 in the second half.
Carter Brown and Ryder Veronda each scored 17 points in the win. Nolan Kline added 16 and Brylan Bender scored 11 points for the Tigers.
Wade Richhart poured in a game-high 25 points for Rockridge (4-15, 0-6 TRAC West) in the loss. Cade Fuhr scored 15 points on five three-pointers for the Rockets.
Sherrard has won nine straight games, while Rockridge has dropped eight in a row.
