Mercer County (4-1) won its boys basketball home opener over Ridgewood (0-2) 64-35 on Thursday.
The Golden Eagles led 33-11 at halftime and held a 53-28 advantage at the end of the third quarter. Mercer County’s largest lead was 33 points in the second half.
Brady McPeek scored a game-high 16 points for Mercer County. Spencer Andresen added 14, and Holden DeMuth scored 11 in the win.
Chase Owen led Ridgewood with 11 points in the loss.
