Rockridge High School football coach Sam Graves is one win away from setting a program record for career wins.
Graves picked up his 80th win last week in Rockridge’s 26-6 win over Newman, which tied him with the record held by Rick Amy. Amy coached the Rockets to an 80-62 record from 1991-2005.
Graves says he’s had great players and assistant coaches during his tenure.
Graves is in his 10th year as head coach of the program. His career record is 80-25.
Rockridge (5-0, 3-0 TRAC Rock) hosts Orion (2-3, 1-2 TRAC Rock) on Friday.
