Orion (2-1, 1-0 TRAC Rock) beat Mercer County (1-2, 0-1 TRAC Rock) 47-20 at George Pratt Memorial Field in Aledo Friday. Orion quarterback Kale Filler and wide receiver Owen Voorhees accounted for six touchdowns in the win. Filler was 17-24 passing for 272 yards and six TDs, while Voorhees caught 11 passes for 193 yards and five TDs and carried the ball three times for 27 yards and a score.
Rockridge (3-0, 1-0 TRAC Rock) defeated Riverdale (2-1, 0-1 TRAC Rock) 49-21 in a battle of unbeatens in Week 3. Cullen Schwigen passed for a touchdown and rushed for two. Tanner Dye and Thomas Sowards each added a pair of rushing TDs in the win.
