A rollover car accident near Millersburg sent two people to the hospital earlier this week.
Mercer County sheriff’s deputies responded to a rollover vehicle crash on Monday afternoon. According to a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department press release, the crash resulted from a tractor failing to yield to traffic on the roadway when entering a field entrance. This caused an oncoming truck to swerve to avoid a head-on collision with the tractor. The truck then hit a culvert, causing it to roll over.
The passenger of the truck was air lifted to Iowa City, while the driver of the truck was transported to MercyOne Genesis Aledo via ambulance.
The driver of the tractor was not injured.
