Country View Villas in Aledo held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its senior-living community on Thursday.
Country View Villas is building local independent living options for senior citizens. The new villas will offer zero-entry homes with attached garages, walk-in closets, full kitchens, and laundry rooms. Each villa will feature all-new appliances, high-speed internet and cable, and a whole-house generator.
Residents will have access to amenities such as lawn care, snow removal, housekeeping services, and monthly wellness checks by a registered nurse.
Country View Villas Owner and Manager Mike Bowns says he saw a need for more senior living options locally.
Bowns says he hopes to have the first few villas open in October.
