The 85th New Windsor Fair, Rodeo and Horse Show is this weekend.
The event kicks off Thursday and runs through Saturday. Scheduled events include the parade Thursday, the carnival, IPRA Rodeo and more.
New Windsor Rodeo Board President Troy Galvin says the event means a lot to the community.
Gina Hampton and her husband Kevin have been stock contractors for the New Windsor Rodeo for more than thirty years. Despite coming from Arkansas, she says it’s a special event to them.
The first New Windsor Fair, Rodeo and Horse Show took place in 1939.
