Sherrard (2-2) defeated West Central (2-2) 17-2 in four innings in baseball at the Joel Brunsvold Complex Saturday.
West Central scored two runs in the top of the first inning. Sherrard responded by plating the final 17 runs of the game to win in mercy-rule fashion.
Cooper Thomas hit two home runs and drove in six runs. Harrison Curry added three RBI for the Tigers.
Eli Matson picked up the win, allowing two runs in four innings. He struck out nine batters.
