Dwayne W. Sieck Appointed CEO of CBI Bank & Trust

Muscatine, IA – At CBI Bank & Trust’s December 19, 2024, Board Meeting, Dwayne W. Sieck was elected to the Board of Directors and named CEO of CBI Bank & Trust, effective January 1, 2025. Mr. Sieck, who previously served as President of CBI Bank & Trust, succeeds Gregory J. Kistler, who retired on December 31, 2024, after more than 28 years of dedicated service.

In addition to his new role at CBI Bank & Trust, Sieck was also elected to the Board of Directors of Central Bancshares, Inc., the bank’s parent company, and appointed as its President and CEO, effective January 1, 2025.

Mr. Sieck brings 27 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on banking, investments, and commercial real estate. His career includes serving two three-year terms as a Bank Director for the Omaha branch of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank, concluding in 2023. He also served nine years on The University of Northern Iowa’s Real Estate Advisory Council, including three years as its Chair. Currently, Sieck is active on the Iowa Bankers Association Advocacy & Policy Committee and the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Directors.
