WRMJ caught up with former Aledo head football coach Cully Welter Wednesday afternoon. Welter is leading the Monticello Sages to the IHSA 3A state title game this Friday afternoon.
He spent 11 seasons at Aledo with three state titles and two runner up finishes. Welter also has a state title at Monticello and has compiled a remarkable 255-nad-83 mark in 30 years as a head football coach.
