An Aledo High School graduate slated to become the new Aledo Parks and Recreation Director. Troy Blaser’s appointment to the position is on Monday night’s Aledo City Council agenda. The job is being created to oversee all park district programs, including the proposed aquatics center. Blaser currently serves as an athletic coordinator for Wilson Parks & Recreation in North Carolina. He’s scheduled to begin the Aledo position on Jan. 2.
