Sherrard (10-1, 4-0 TRAC West) won its ninth straight game Thursday, defeating Orion (2-8, 1-3 TRAC West) in baseball, 13-3.
The Chargers opened the scoring with a run in the top of the second. The Tigers answered by sending 14 batters to the plate in the bottom half of the inning and scoring eight runs to take control of the game.
Garrett Woodward was 2-4 with 3 RBI for Sherrard. Cam Davis and Sam Crownover each drove in two runs in the win.
Maddux Harksen (1-0) earned the win on the mound by allowing three runs in five innings.
