Mercer County (4-0) rallied in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Orion (1-2), 3-2, in softball Thursday.
The Golden Eagles held a 1-0 lead entering the top of the seventh inning. Orion scored a pair of runs to go ahead, 2-1. Mercer County answered with two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win the game. Payton Ruggles delivered a walk-off single.
Elsie Cook was the winning pitcher. She allowed two runs in seven innings.
