Nancy Jo Heck – Memorial Service 3/2/24

Nancy Jo Heck, 76 of Aledo, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at her home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 1, at Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo. The memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 2, at Fippinger Funeral Home. Nancy was born on April, 6, 1947, to Eldon and Sylvia Elwood Palmer in Geneseo, Illinois. She graduated from Cambridge High School. Nancy married Harold “Spike” Heck on August 30, 2002. Nancy was employed as a bank teller at Bank Orion for over 30 years.

She attended the Cambridge United Methodist Church. Nancy enjoyed collecting Chessie memorabilia, taking trips to the casino and having Sunday morning breakfast with friends, going to tractor pulls with Spike, and spending time with her cat, Tammy. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

Nancy is survived by one son, Tom (Dee) Buttgen of Cambridge; two step-daughters, Jody Heck of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Jane Kenney of Davenport, Iowa; one step-son, David Heck of Streamwood, Illinois; five grandchildren, Angela, Thomas John, Charles, Marlaina, and Nichole; three step-grandchildren, Daniel, Jena, and Davis; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Kathy Vincent of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband; parents; and her sister, Lorie Gibson, preceded her in death.
