Sherrard (7-3, 5-0 TRAC West) beat Riverdale (6-2, 4-1 TRAC West) Monday to take sole possession of first place in the conference, 40-27.
The score was tied at 10 at the end of the first quarter, but the Tigers opened the second quarter on a 9-0 run and led the rest of the way.
Sherrard’s Violet Meskan was the game’s leading scorer with 11 points.
