Trees In The Park Add A Sparkle To Holly Days

Despite worries over a rainy Friday, WRMJ’s Trees in the Park and the Holly Days festivities went on as scheduled. A break in the rain brought cold, but dry conditions to the streets of downtown Aledo for the annual Holly Days Electric Light Parade. In Central Park, WRMJ’s Trees in the Park were shining bright. 27 trees were on display decorated by local organizations. All of the entries were excellent this year. However, judges made some tough decisions to pick this year’s Trees in the Park winners. The winner of the Peoples Choice Award will be announced Monday.
