U.S. Senator Dick Durbin will hold a news conference Tuesday in Aledo with local health care leaders to discuss his “Roadmap to Grow Illinois’ Rural Health Workforce.” The roadmap, in partnership with hospitals, community health centers, medical and nursing schools, community colleges, dentists, physicians, and nurses, aims to organize efforts and provide a framework to address health care workforce shortages in rural Illinois. The news conference will be at Genesis Medical Center Aledo.
