Volunteers stepping up to help with a replica of the Vietnam War Memorial coming to Aledo next month. The wall will be on display during Rhubarb Fest weekend at Monument Park, located just south of the former Mercer County Hospital. Steve Johnson is helping organize the effort.
Opening ceremony for the Vietnam War Traveling Tribute is 6 p.m. Thursday, June 3 with the closing ceremony set for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6.
