WRMJ Sports Director Jim Taylor visited with Casey Kahler Monday morning. Kahler, who now resides in the Pacific Northwest, spent part of his career as the radio voice of the Quad City Thunder in the now defunct Continental Basketball Association (CBA). The Thunder operated from 1987 until 2001 when the CBA folded. They would play their games at Wharton Field House and then the MARK of the Quad Cities.
