Sherrard School District superintendent Alan Boucher has announced his retirement. He will finish with the 2021/2022 academic year.
Each year presents its own unique challenges, but Boucher says the pandemic was something completely different.
Boucher is in his sixth year as Sherrard superintendent. He served as Aledo and then Mercer County School District superintendent from 2007 to 2015. Prior to that, he worked as a building principal in the Sherrard School District.
